History Channel Back-Peddles On 9/11 Hit Piece
Program description, broadcast date
changed after pressure from Infowars readers
The makers of an upcoming two hour hit piece on the 9/11 truth movement
have back peddled and altered the program description on their website
after Infowars highlighted the blatant biased agenda of the piece and
its multiple corporate conflicts of interest.
Yesterday we
revealed how the so-called documentary, to be broadcast
on the History Channel later this month, promises not to look at the
flaws in the official story of 9/11 from a neutral perspective but to
start out by suggesting that any deviation from the official line is
“outrageous”.
Rescheduled:
Examines the various conspiracy theories espoused on the Internet, in articles and in public forums that attempt to explain the 9/11 attacks. It includes theories that the World Trade Center was brought down by a controlled demolition; that a missile, not a commercial airliner, hit the Pentagon; and that members of the U.S. government orchestrated the attacks in hopes of creating a war in the Middle East. Each conspiracy argument is countered by a variety of experts in the fields of engineering, intelligence and the military. The program also delves into the anatomy of such conspiracies and how they grow on the Internet.

As you can see, PM has a history of defending Bush no matter what the issue. All of the horror stories that we heard about Katrina were apparently lies as well according to PM. Is the mainstream media comprised of conspiracy theorists as well?

Yet even more proof that PM is a shamefully biased propaganda outfit and anyone who uses them as a reference has no credibility. Their only concern is exonerating the Bush administration. Facts and reality are discarded along the way. Next PM will probably be telling us that the WMD’s really were in Iraq.

Just received the following email. I was interviewed for this History Channel Documentary on 9/11 “conspiracies” at the conference held at the University of Texas at Austin in April. I believe Webster Tarpley and Alex Jones and others at the conference were also interviewed. Curious to see how much of our comments get through… In any case, a 2-hour documentary on the 9/11 Truth community etc. ought to be interesting… Don’t know who they interviewed for the “other side..”

Hard to tell at this point how hard it will be on the crackpots. There
are some very good signs:
An interview with James Miegs, Editor-in-Chief of Popular Mechanics, who refutes many of these theories. Watch as experts in the fields of aeronautics, engineering and the military put these theories to the test.
Not hard to imagine how the Deniers will react to that. “Experts? We don’t need no stinking experts! Besides, they’re all in the pay of the government!”

Building For The Future: Rusting Steel Struts Cause Bridge C… There are many people who believe the World Trade Center was deliberately pulled down and they can’t understand the sheer weight of the cement pads of each floor could make the whole thing pancake at the speed of sound but here is yet another example of this: the weight of the concrete pads were similar to the WTC pads and like them, caused everything to fall very fast when only one side was compromised.

An upcoming documentary entitled The 9/11 Conspiracies, to be aired on the History Channel, may represent the biggest hit piece to date on the 9/11 truth movement and is rife with bias, cronyism and conflicts of interest.
The so-called documentary promises not to look at the flaws in the official story from a neutral perspective but to start out by suggesting that any deviation from the official line is “outrageous”.
The program also features so called independent “experts” who are actually in the employ of the program makers themselves who in turn rely on scores of multi-million dollar contracts with the government and the military-industrial complex.
The program, scheduled for Sunday, August 12 at 8:00 PM and Monday, August 13 at 12:00 AM, will feature Alex Jones, the Loose Change crew and other 9/11 researchers such as Professor Steven Jones and Webster Tarpley.

Distorting History with The History Channel « Mr. Smith’s Ne… The History Channel is at it again. It’s Saturday night, June 30, and The History Channel is featuring “The Kennedy Assassination: Beyond Conspiracy.” For those of you who have not seen this show, it is a distortion of the true facts in the assassination of John F. Kennedy. Essentially, it is another program in a long series of disinformation pieces designed to focus blame for Kennedy’s murder on Fidel Castro, the Mafia or solely on the shoulders of Lee Harvey Oswald. First, let’s understand who runs The History Channel to determine if some slant might exist. According to the website for A&E Television Networks: “A&E Television Networks, a joint venture of The Hearst Corporation, ABC, Inc. and NBC Universal, is an award-winning, international media company offering consumers a diverse communications environment ranging from television programming, to home videos/DVDs and music CDs, to web sites, as well as supporting nationwide educational initiatives.
